The Pima FB page has several images of their B-25J in the shop for repaint (actually they have had numerous shots of several airplanes in for repaint )

Anyone have the skinny on the significance of the old scheme and what the new look might be? The airplane has a somewhat unique configuration for a TB-25; still has slim carb intakes and all its Clayton stacks, plus de-ice boots. Seems like it could make a nice TB-25 in an authentic training scheme or, with a top turret and some cheek guns, it might make a convincing theatre airplane.

The previous paint scheme was the markings of the B-25s used for training at Douglas Army Air Field at the end of the war. It was not authentic to the aircraft's service history. We recently acquired a photo of our aircraft in service in Alaska during the war. It will be repainted into those markings and it will then be put into the building we are currently putting up. The photo shows the plane configured pretty much exactly as it is now.

Its so great that new buildings go up on a fairly regular basis. It gets the airframes out of the damaging sun. Keep up the good work James.
