This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Very nice pictures Chris! Let me know if a Wildcat or Hellcat make an appearance. Will the Helldiver be there?
Thanks.

The live webcams are great for those who can't be there. Just wish that the spider webs would be removed now and then,
A "Swifter" on a long pole would do the job. Silver Dragon looks great, who owns the OV-1 Mohawk ?

Joe Masessa is planning to attend with his MIA-tribute OV-1D. I just can't tell if that's his from long range.

As Dan mentioned, it is either the OV-1 from the American Wings Air Museum (Minnesota) or it is the OV-1 owned by Dr. Joe Masessa (New Jersey) - both have attended Oshkosh in past years. Dr. Masessa's is scheduled to attend, and is marked as a memorial with the names of every remaining US serviceman still MIA or POW unaccounted for from the Vietnam War:

Silver B-25 is the EAA copy ("city of Burlington") that Paul last flew many years ago. Now under long term, back burner restoration at Weeks' hangar. They wanted it out front and center for the show

I mentioned NATA events in Dubuque and Sheboygan, but shame on me for forgetting to note what's become another major OSH feeder event: Heavy Bomber Weekend in Madison!
B-29, B-17, PB4Y-2, SB2C, SBD, F4U, multiple Mustangs and more...the HBW folks have obviously got it goin' on.
https://www.facebook.com/MadisonHBWI'm sure this thread will gladly accept any pics attendees would care to post.

Any F6F's or F4F's showing up yet?

Today's additions:

No Hellcats or Wildcats yet, and the Mohawk is Dr Massessa's. Earlier in this thread there was some discussion of him being the only one left who could fly by to set off the Saturday pyro which is true, but I talked to him when he was back on the ground and he was PUMPED
Will have to check on the A-26 owner. Am back at camp trying to drink beer before it gets hot.
Limited opportunity to post photos after today - will get busy (we hope!)
