Well, those appear to be Argentinian Navy markings. I'm assuming it was sold to them after being retired from U.S. service. Your link lists it as having crashed in 1963, so I'm not sure what the mystery is. I rotated and cropped your scan to make it a bit more easy to view.

Are you sure it's white? I've always been of the impression that the late Argentine Corsairs were painted in a Gull Gray/White scheme similar to that used by the US Navy at the time. Or possibly even Gull Gray or something very similar overall.

Looks GG/W to me. I can see the demarcation on the lower fuselage. Also, the whole thing doesn't look the same as the white on the prop tips.
