I don't quite recall THAT kind of reward on offer, but I am getting a very nice lapel pin for my contribution!

I had been meaning to put up some shots of the Mustang in its current facility but got sidelined with flu
Here's a small selection for this week - thanks to those who have supported so far.

I'll get more up asap, have around 40 shots
Cheers

Darn! I saw his project way back in CW(D?) and thought "hey, someone with the same last name who has a Mustang!". I was hoping it was, if only to see progress.

If only ! No such thing as free money, it's a volunteer public museum so we have to raise funds by all means available which of course is what other museums in our situation do. Plus the 40 plus hours I'm spending on it per week on top of my day gig just dealing with tax receipts and queries. It would be nice if it was indeed all free, but reality dictates that is never the case. I'm probably a little more visible with these activities than others but part of my background is from pr and the like so I may be more "in your face" than others, but It's better to to try for this than to die wondering

Just my .02 cents of course but I think there is a big difference between a public museum seeking donations in this manner as compared to a private individual who is looking for others to finance his/her hobby. While I have no problem with either scenario, people can do with their money as they wish, I personally am far more likely to donate to the former rather than the latter.

Thanks to all those who have supported us to date. The Pozible crowd funding campaign has just 2600Aud to go in 29 days - that's 1982USD so not much at all really. Given the exchange rate is still where it's at even 5USD is more in AUD so we get there a little faster

We have hit the 50% mark on the crowd funding page. It's been thanks to supporters like a number of you on board here . We are humbled by the donations from other restoration project members and also from other Museum members, thank you !
Just 25 days to go.
http://www.pozible.com/project/195714I reckon we can get this over the line

of course if we don't then sadly all those pledges do not go through so would be nice to see it all come together
Cheers for now

What ever happened to the Stang that landed in Athens after the speed record attempt.
ADF Serials says it was abandoned there.
