I've seen the outside of the 94th' Restaurant at Port Columbus a few times, but I had the chance to actually eat there recently. The food was quite good, and, of equal interest, there's some more interesting stuff displayed inside.

Image
The P-51D replica is looking a little ragged these days.

Image
The first artifact I noted, the right wing from an Aeronca L-3. At least, I assume that the label written on it is correct, if someone has a better ID, do tell.

Image
an unidentified aileron. Again, that was my guess, if I'm wrong, do tell. Judging by the size, this came from something rather large.

The remainder are somewhat less Warbird related, but I figure I may as well post them for the sake of completeness, and because I could use help determining what aircraft type they came off of:

Image
This looks too big to be from an R/C aircraft, yet too small to be from a piloted one. Any ideas?

Image
Image
Tailplanes from a Beech Bonanza, I think? Dressed up as "Luftwaffe War Trophies"

Image
My offhand guess is these belong(ed) to an AA-1 Yankee

Image
Another AA-1 Yankee part?

That's all, although I have to say, looking at other photos online, I'm a little annoyed that this location got the short end of the stick as far as vehicle displays go. I've seen photos of other restaurants with full-size Deuce-and-a-half hulks, Jeeps, ambulances and the like. All we got was a pair of old, ratty possibly-trucks. Oh well. Like I said, the food was great, as was the service, so if you're in Columbus I'd recommend a visit.

The P-51 looking a "little ragged" is a gross understatement in my humble opinion.

The item that "looks too big to be from an R/C aircraft" looks like the elevator from a Cessna UC-78 / T-50...Bamboo Bomber That piece would attach to the rest of the horizontal stabilizer, which is why it probably appears too small, as this is about half of the horizontal stabilizer area.

We used to have one of those restaurants here at SJC. Had a Fokker triplane on the airport side and a Sopwith at the front door.

I miss that place, they had an awesome Sunday champagne brunch! :D :partyman:

We have acquired the cockpit/forward fuselage, propeller, canopy, etc. fiberglass molds that were told was used by the 94th Aero Squadron to make full-sized replicas of the Me-109.
I made been looking for the aft fuselage/tail and the wing molds but have never found them.
We had considered making several Me-109 cockpits for but never received enough interest to pursue the project.
If anyone is interested in buying them, PM me and we'll talk about it.
