Wonder if anybody can help a T-28A restoration project here...
Were are looking for a copy of Technical Order T.O. 3H3-3-512, as called by AD 61-05-05 concerning North American Model T-28A Aircraft ((d) (1) The A-422-E1 or -E2 propeller, regardless of serial number, must be disassembled, inspected, and reworked in accordance with T.O. 3H3-3-512 at 300 hours' time in service).
Prop has just been overhauled, but we can not get it OKed by FAA if we do not provide said T.O. 3H3-3-512...

And to let you know, we have already asked several knowed possible sources, like the major T-28 parts suppliers, etc... to no avail. May be a T-28A owner who flies with the original two blade could help ? USAF Museum has not responded to our query, neither FAA...

Sorry I can't help with the TO, but I am guessing you are part of the group exporting this T-28A to France. Is this the one you are involved with?

Yes, this one. But it will stay in the US.

It looks like this one runs with the 2 blader... It appears to be based in Midland Texas. Anyone have contact info for the Owner/Maintainer?

HappyMeal, I am involved with the T-28A 49-1643 that Warbirdnerd posted photos of. I spoke with Taylor this morning and told him I would take a look through the info I have on 643. We also have T-28A 49-1646 assigned to the CAF High Sky Wing but it has been converted to a Ham Standard 3 blade. I will take a look this week to see if I can lend a hand with T.O. you are in need of.

I was able to get a TO from the Smithsonian. You can make an inquiry by email and they will answer fairly quick to tell you if they have it. To actually obtain a copy takes longer.
