I dunno the name of the medical condition, but I like caps

I like them simple, without too much stuff on them. I like them with LARGE and WIDE bills that will actually protect the face from the unkindness that the sun sends our way

I prefer a good adjustable back strap, one of those that have a metal clasp, although some of those are such poor quality, that they soon become unadjustable.

As for color, if you have a good variety, then I can choose whatever I want.

The idea of sharing some of the proceeds with WIX is of course, commendable.

You stated that you would have some 50 aircraft types available. Are you having only WW-II types (which, I like) but, would you also have let's say, a Cessna A-37B? Or a Pilatus PC-7 and PC-6? Just curious.

And lastly, yes, I would probably buy more than one cap.

Yesterday was my day to volunteer at the AF Museum so been away from the computer.

Needless to say, we will have to be ordering hats based on the requests, etc. and that would be no problem.

Here is an idea as to ordering procedures, payment will be thru paypal with no cost to you.

We will email a photo of the blank hat prior to purchase so one can see what they look like.

Right now, we do just about all ordering from Otto Cap. I will start looking thru the catalogs.

Each request will be handled individually and those requesting airplane fronts, a photo will be sent for approval before any payment needs to be made.

All hats will be mailed in corrugated boxes to prevent damage.

We anticipate a cost of $15.00 delivered. Breakdown; $7.00 for the hat, embroidered front and back, $3.00 for first class postage boxed and a $5.00 donation to Scott for each hat as appreciation for all his efforts and costs for the WIX website.

For ordering one should PM me with their email address to make it easier for me to send back photos of hats and designs, etc. When all finalized between you and I, an invoice will be sent thru paypal for payment.

It will be done on a somewhat orderly basis so as not to have too much of your money on hand.

I have been searching for hats with other than the velcro closure and have come up with some. Snap, bukckles, etc.

For anyone interested in this offer, (received one pm so far), send me a pm with your email address and exactly what your intereste in as to hat color, design, closure etc.

With you email address, we can communicate directly with photos, etc and not have to try and go thru photobucket. Save time and much easier on my end.

Next week, I will be ordering hats based on the feedback. YOU WILL NOT BE HELD responsible if you change your mind. I can always use the hats for other uses.

REMINDER ... not all aircraft are digitzed for embroidery ... some of those already expressed on here cannot be found for embroidery. Unfortunately, the B-18, SB2 and the P-43 doesn't seem to be availabe for embroidery. However, I'll still do some searching.

Anyway, for all interested, let's get started and see how it goes. Some of the hats, with the velcro closure I do have on hand.

I have an A-1 Skyraider embroidery design. NOT a silohuette (sp) as this one. Haven't sewn it out yet and I believe it is in camo.
