This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

We as a society euthanize unwanted animals all the time. To me a plane is more significant than a animal as once a plane is gone it's gone and it can't be replaced but it's quite easy to replace a chicken or some other animal.

Pardon my 2 cent Gents, but I DO understand where Everyone is coming from. After Rescuing Over 9000 + stray Cats/kittens,Dogs & pups since 1976, getting all Spayed & Neutered & Homes, even to This Day & yes in this whole world, humans put down, kill & starve Millions of unwanted animals Every year. But I Know that MOST of us here have & had FAMILY Pets, ALL One of a kind to us. I understand that once a piece a History is gone That's it for that one, But now ANY thing metal can replicated, I know a New Super Corsair will NEVER be the original thing, but most of us will never know by looking at it. I of all warbird nuts LOVE Navy birds of all makes, and I wish every day some news of brand new Sea Furys, TBFs, BearCats etc.. Will happen with the next new day of technology, we'll just have to wait & see. I still believe pets have their own spirits, as do airplanes. Thank you, I owe more than 2 cents. Tony D.
