The 2 Texas FM-2s

Tue Dec 09, 2014 7:27 pm

Last year we found out from Bryan D that the two little cats from Uvalde,Texas were now in England. Are they under restoration to airworthy, to static, or just being stored? Any updates would be much appreciated.

They have a total of 3 Wildcats under restoration. This is the company's website, which is sadly lacking any info on the FM-2s. The website was last updated 2/2013.

Bryan, it seems that 3 Eastern FM-2s under restoration at the same shop would be major news, but I haven't seen a thing about it. Hopefully this story will eventually get legs, as its certainly a major undertaking in warbird restoration.
