Too slow Ollie.
The Royal Australian Air Force has already deployed 8 x F/A/-18F Super Hornets, 1x E-7A AWACS, 1 x KC-30 tanker, 3 x C-130J's and a couple of C-17's. We've been running food and guns into the Kurds for a few weeks and combat ops start this weekend...from outside of the region we have the second largest commitment behind the good ol' USA.
Anyway good luck to all girls and boys taking the fight to ISIS....
By the way one of their brethren here in Australia stabbed two counter terrorism police before they shot him dead two days ago.. This is serious stuff.

Sorry Mate, did not mean you guys! Knew you were there. Even the French!
Lots of others waffling.

More should stop waffling -- and say no.
tell that to the thousands murdered in cold blood. Bill Murray as funny as he seems is just that. When did he serve his country?

Being a more radical offshoot of al-Qaeda, I figured the bombings of ISIS, ISIL, or DAIISH were just more of the ongoing war against the parent organization. Tho it is encouraging some of the coalition come from Arabic states, hopefully a trend toward managing the extremists from their culture...they need to stop the money as well.
edit
Being a current military matter, this thread would probably be better placed in the Military Matters section...

No need to move the thread, some of the Danish F-16's are more than 30 years old...

I saw online the other day that UAE F-16s flew air strikes against ISIS targets in Syria, and the mission leader was UAE's first female fighter pilot. That's progress!
Last night's local 10:00 news included video of a pair of RAF Tornado fighters joining the action (though only recce flights at this time).

Hard for the Saudi's to defend their ban on women driving cars. I can hear the clerics now discussing the UAE women's inferior ovaries due to flying...

Which makes them classic active duty warbirds. When they reach civilian hands they become the Warbirds we have here in the hangar...tho, I don't care where this gets pigeonholed. Whatever the warden or his screws decide...I'm hip wit dat!
