P-47 identification

Mon Sep 22, 2014 11:42 pm

Hello all,
I'm trying to find more information about this P-47: http://www.worldwarphotos.info/gallery/usa/aircrafts-2-3/p-47/p-47-365th-fighter-group-1945-color-photo-2/
So far I've been able to find find out that it's part of the 386fs/365fg, likely codes D5*D.
anybody else know any more info about this aircraft?

Cheers!

Looks like it could be:-

44-19762
1st Lt Roy Price

There's a colour profile in Thundebolts of the Hellhawks by Barnes, Crump and Sutherland. Page 299.

Cheers

Peter

Do you think you could email me a scan of any pictures/profiles of that aircraft from the book? (my email is in my profile)
