Frasca would be Illinois (rather than Indiana)

Thanks Dan, now corrected. I've mixed that up before.

Also, I thought about adding, but haven't any recent knowledge of the "activeness" in recent years of, the late Col Pay's P-40E in Australia (VH-KTY).

Hello,

Just to be 100% :
France:
P-40N (French Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis association)

This P40 is privately owned, was base à La Ferté Alais home of the Association Jean-Baptiste Salis but not anymore.
Now based at Melun Airport, South of Paris

The Spaulding P40N (VH-MIK) was recently sold via PlatinumFighters and it's reported to be heading to the USA, so if true that's one less for the Australian listing.

Still here, just doesn't get out as much. Sits alongside the Pay's (no relation to Judy with her Merlin powered F) dual control P51D and CA-18 Mustangs, Mk IX and Tr9 dual control Spitfire projects. And the Harvard, Bird Dog, SM1019, Tiger Moth and the ex Russell Hurricane that Pay's will operate on the owners behalf.

I'm with hang. How many are under rebuild, and are there still any project aircraft squirreled away any where?

Perhaps Goodall is a workable ground zero? WIXers could update/modify/add as they go along.

http://www.goodall.com.au/warbirds-dire ... urtiss.pdf

For starters, I don't see the remains of P-40K 42-10270 listed (unless it's one of the unidentified ambiguities Goodall tucks in at the end of his list?). The last I heard that project was with Brent Vandervort, but perhaps it has moved on elsewhere?

I saw one being restored at Frazier Lake, CA about 5 years back. The restorer was working on the fuselage and said he was looking for a set of wings to go with it. Does anyone know the identity of this project?
