I already checked into that one. It was super rough and the nacelles had been cut off with a torch. It belongs to the fire department. I'm still pestering them about it.

Two of the ones at Tradewinds were scrapped and one was towed to California-- as I was told by the guys that scrapped the planes.

Found this old topic while searching another thing and I must make a correction.
42-100521 was never nicknamed "Kilroy is Here".
42-100521 was a plane from the 436th TCG - 79th TCS (code squadron S6 - Tail letter D) and was nicknamed "Night Fright"
Her pilot, who flew her during all the war is still alive.
42-100521 is N308SF and is now owned by Charlie Walker, from UK. He is restoring her in Florida in her wartime colors and markings before flying her to great britain where she will be based in the future.
