TAC 1962 video: lots of cool aircraft including the F-110

An F-110? Whats that? Just what USAF called the F-4 Phantom until 1962 policies changed in aircraft designation(boring). Anyway we have in this video, KB-50J, F-100's, F-104/5's , RF-101 and RB-66's, KC-135A, C-130A/B/E, and even the C-123!

Another great film from the early 60's showing the variety of aircraft in TAC. :drink3:

P.S. Does anyone know what unit the F-101 that is refueling is from?

1962! That means they didn't even have their first Skyraiders yet!

I knew the F-110 was the F-4, but I didn't know the AIM-9 was previously called the GAR-8.

Ever since I was a kid I loved watching movies with gratuitous afterburners and explosions. Thanks for sharing that.
