Does anyone happen to have any pictures of the 8th Air Force, 94th Bomb Group 332nd Bomb Squadron? My grandfather was a T/Sgt and I'd love to find a picture of him,the plane he flew in, and the people he flew with.

His name was Fredrick Merrill. From what I am told this is the crew he flew with:

1st Lt. Robert MacCombs 0-759703.
2nd Lt. Charles C. Harper 0-756876.
2nd Lt. Harrison P. Donahue 0-716314.
2nd Lt. Robert H. Voss 0-705268.
S/Sgt. Richard L. Bruney 35218294.
S/Sgt. Robert M. Hotchkiss 37572546.
S/Sgt. John H. Brand Jr. 39620126.
T/Sgt. Frederick Merrill 16082731.
T/Sgt. Harold E. Lloyd 35622905.
S/Sgt. Harry A. Dyche 37536475.

I've been working with the 94th Bomb Group on Facebook. Chris Argent over there has been great. he was able to provide me the following information:

He was a member of 1st Lt. Robert MacCombs crew when they went on leave on the 26th September 1944. He was possibly the Engineer/Top Turret Gunner (E/TTG) or the Radio Operator (RO). The crew positions aren't listed when going on leave but he was listed as being one of the two T/Sgt's. The other enlisted men were all listed as S/Sgt's. 1st Lt. Robert MacCombs crew were from the 332nd Bomb Squadron, 94th Bomb Group.

We was able to provide this today:

8 July 44
A/C 42-31788, "Janie"
MacCombs (P) WIA
Thompson (C) KIA, flak
Stecher (N)
Harper (B)
Merrill (R)
Lloyd (TT)

From http://www.8thafhs.com I found this information:
