A report today has said that a QLD based P-40 Kittyhawk has been sold by its owner and will be shipped to new owner in US?

One less P-40 in Australia now.

This departure will make i recall only now left.... 2 flying regularly and 1 flying at times.

My guess is it's this example: http://www.platinumfighters.com/#!p-40n/c4lz

From what I recall, it suffered a landing accident a while ago and hasn't flown since?

Currently (by my count) there are three airworthy in Australia - Allan Arthur's ex-RNZAF N, the late Col Pay's family's ex-RNZAF E, and Judy Pay's Merlin-engined F.
