Hi all, Corsair FAH 603 maiden flight after restoration took place this morning, 30 min flight with no issues at all, pics when I can post them, cheers, Pete

The best news that we've heard all day fm this side of the pond! Congratulations for such a fine restoration job...FAH 603 looks magnificent, like the good old days.... in its environment, graceful in the blue Aussie skies! Job well done!!

p.s Plz post some pics of the fine RAF Peter Clements pilot & his impressions of the 1st flight when you get a chance!! Tks

Peter Clements....ex-RAAF fighter pilot, warbird driver and all round good guy..

This mighty machine was approximately 17 years in the restoration was was an ex-Disney donate to RNZAF and swapped for a P-40F [now P-40E] project.

At one time c. 1955 your FAH 603 wore this scheme on the E. Coast. We 'are doing some more digging for the tail #. Photo NARA.
