This insignia is interesting, and is the one on the side of Paul Allen's Bf109E at his Flying Heritage Museum at Paine Field, WA. If I remember correctly, the writing on it means something like, "God Punish England", with the bird of course representing Churchill. Does anyone know if this is a personal marking, or a squadron or wing marking? I ask, because if it's a personal marking, it may be the same plane as is now on display; as I recall from my visit to the museum that the FHC bird has war history...possibly even shot down during the Battle of Britain, though I'm not 100% positive about that. Anyone know?

Thanks either way. And cool photos you all have posted!

(That's Bud Granley taxiing-out on an FHC "Fly-Day" (probabably the annual "Luftwaffe Day" ).
