P-63 Folks:

Good day!

Backtracking on the whereabouts of this fine dual-canopy sample Bell P-63E 43-11734, Reg NX41964, it appears that it ended-up disassembled at Dupage County Airport near Chicago, IL c.1970s. It was one of the many samples of the late Bill Ross collection of fine aircraft. Photo N.Y area c. June 1946 GE Airshow.

Some of the maintenance crews were: Dip Davis, Wayne Sadchez & Fred Cailey. It's poss that some of this A&P folks may have taken some pictures of the dual cabin P-63 in the area. It was just the center fuselage w/o the wings. The previous owner seems to be Mr. Dave Robinson of Fla.

If you visited the area or know the whereabouts of the above folks plz PM me for a poss contact. Tks in advance

I checked my pics from when I un-packed the a/c from its storage container. There are no visible markings on the wings. The right wing has been re-skinned on the bottom.

I have not checked for s/n's on the individual components. The a/c is identified as P-63E 43-11734

Good day!

You can barely see on the V/ Stab traces of the Civ reg 41964 (R/S). If you find any other Id numbers plz post. Specially the id plates at the cabin doors.

Tks in advance
