The whereabouts of a couple of B-25 airframes

Tue Apr 08, 2014 4:57 pm

My mind needs some refreshing on this. What is the current whereabouts of the B-25 once displayed at a waterpark in Florida and the one displayed at Paul Bunyan park in Minn? I know both of them were removed sometime ago but I can not remember where they went.

According to this web site the one from Minnesota is listed in New Orleans at the National WWII Museum, look at the 4th photo down.

Hi Pat,
the one that used to be at the waterpark is 44-86844.
I believe its whereabouts are best described on http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDos ... rial=23900, although I've seen a reference that it was at Sherman-Grayson, TX after being at Roanoke, TX, and there is a post on the Aero Vintage forum (http://www.aerovintage.com/forum/viewto ... f=1&t=1217) that says it's been bought by a group in Brighton, MI.
