I didn't see it listed anywhere, but the Liberty Bell foundation is at the Deer Valley airport today and tomorrow with the B-17 Memphis Belle.

Had some fun with the Memphis Belle crew while they were here. On Saturday I heard them talking about having a issue with a turbo and they could not locate a pressure controller, I said give me a minute, I called a friend of mine from our days with Sentimental Journey and asked if he had any 17 turbo parts, well needless to say, we showed up at Deervalley with 2 amplifiers, 2 turbo tachs, a waste gate motor, a turbo test set and a new in the box pressure controller. I think we surprised them just a little.......

Yes, you did, and Thank You Very Much!!!!!
I met the airplane yesterday in San Diego and today we will be using a few of those parts. I kinda hate to open up the box with the pressure controller in it--it looks like original packaging. Thanks again!!!!!!

Looks like they are in the San Diego area for a few days through this weekend...Gillespie Field, El, Cajon. The local CAF has an event going on Friday afternoon as well...4-8pm

Did anyone reading the title of this posting really expect the actual non-flying/never to be flown again Memphis Belle to be flying in Phoenix?

I just wonder why this one gets the spite, and no one really cares about the various multiple Lou's and Dolls.

To be fair it does have "Movie" painted on the nose
