We'll be there. Last time we went was in 2009. Looking forward to it!

The CF generally operate out of Burbank selling rides over the Chino weekend, and do not participate in the airshow. They did fly through on the Friday en-route a couple of years back

With two P-47G razorbacks at Chino right now, the word is that an effort is being made to make a real Thunderbolt gathering out of the May 3-4 show this year. Chris Fahey mentioned on Facebook that PoF is hoping to have up to EIGHT P-47's at the show with SIX actually flying in the show.

It would be fantastic if they could equal or exceed the 5 Thunderbolts that flew at the show in 2005.

I noted it in my post above.

Again...I just looked at that March 2014 newsletter and they do not show a gap during Chino. I believe that they update fairly regularly as more tour stops are added/adjusted...and as another contributor "Mike" noted the schedule shows Burbank during the Chino show weekend.

I would bet that the March newsletter is more accurate than their website...

I saw on Facebook that "Boise Bee" is scheduled to arrive this Thursday for the show! :supz: Any other aircraft confirmations?

That is excellent news! Other than seeing the Tomahawk fly the "Bee" was the highlight of the show for me last year. Wouldn't it be great if one or two other B/C Mustangs showed up to go along with the two razorback Jugs? (wishing out loud here)

Planning on going...pretty excited. I've wanted to attend this show since I was a kid.

Any word on what The Horsemen will be performing in? I was told either Sabre or Mustang...I hope it's the Mustang.

"Racing" - you will enjoy the show. Definitely one of the best warbirds air show anywhere. I believe it has been reported that The Horsemen are flying P-51 Mustangs (although Sabres is what I most like seeing them in - was lucky enough to see the 3-Ship Sabre demo at Aviation Nation at Nellis AFB in November 2012).

Only 2 1/2 weeks to the show!

Has the shiny TFC P-40B been sighted around the field lately? Hoping it is still at CNO and will participate again.

Just seen on Facebook that both P-47's "Wicked Wabbit" & "Hun Hunter" are scheduled to be at Chino... Also on the Planes of Fame airshow website under - airshow schedule - the Horsemen are on the list twice doing a 3 ship routine in Mustangs before lunch and then closing the show with 3 Sabre's !!!
