Warbird Information Exchange

i've never seen any usn pics of the sparrow hawks hangared inside the uss akron or macon. for that matter i've never seen any interior pics of either, period. anything out their??

I GOOGLED Curtiss F9C SPARROWHAWK, found a link to an AIRBOYD film on youtube showing an F9C being hoisted into the Akron (ZRS-4), the pilot climbing out and several interior shots of the Akron (ZRS-4) runs about 3 1/2 minutes)

what a feat of engineering. I can't imagine the drag factor trying to hook back up. the storage machinery almost looks "rube Goldberg" w/ all the gears, pulleys, sprockets, etc. still, i'd say pretty cutting edge technology for the era.
