No sweat folks! I don't worry about that nonsense anymore. To each his own so no need to apologize either.

People put a ton of effort and money into organizing air shows

FWIW my support and contributions towards airshows, museums, individual warbird folks and individual aircraft runs deep. Not that that means anything to anyone other than me and the people I try to help out I suppose. Again no big deal as you have a right to express your opinions as well as I. I'm not interested in drama anymore and if someone is offending by anything I post I find it much easier to "sh*t-can" it and move on. More important things in life to worry about.
Mark your fellow "cheerleader" (only privately)

Again the very best of luck, and support, to the folks at TOM.

That is GREAT news, Michael! It has been a while since a B-24 has been at a Thunder Over Michigan show and it is hard to think of a more appropriate aircraft for the U.S. Army Air Forces in WWII theme.

With 6 months to the show - I sense a sellout in our not too distant future!

2010 wasn't that long ago for a B-24...It would be nice to get the A-36 and Tomahawk there :)

Jim - I guess you are right - I don't specifically remember the B-24 in 2010 (The F-100 and the DC-7B were the highlights for me that year and are what stick in my mind). But overall the B-24 is not a common visitor to Thunder Over Michigan (of course with only 2 flying not a big surprise).

I have a feeling there are a LOT more warbirds to be announced over the next few months. It should be a great show.

and who can forget we had the duo at TOM 2008. I don't think this has been repeated at any other show. :D

Seeing the B-24 again in Diamond Lil colors is another reason to come to Thunder this year, so yes I am much more excited this year compared to last year. Three planes I already want to see.

I remember the two B-24s in formation too, too bad it was cloudy that day. Also unusual was seeing Collings and CAF together, I thought there were some issues between the two organizations in the past.

Besides the proverbial meeting of "Joe" and "All American" back in the mid-nineties. I was there for the 08 show with my father to see both B-24s. It was really something. If there is a place to have all three meet……one day, it'd be Willow Run.
