I've recently discovered this guy’s work, and it is amazing (love his representation of the planes, frankly, I can take or leave pin up stuff most of the time as most isn’t very well done). I have bought two of his books so far and am waiting on the third. Actually, his work has motivated me to try my hand again on stuff like that. Sadly, nothing is in English but the work speaks for itself: http://romain-hugault.blogspot.de/

I used to be. I guess doing pin up work as an artist myself, you get a little jaded on it after a while.
Not saying his stuff isn't amazing, just saying my primary interest is in the airplanes he does. Very few could do both so well.

Wow - he is quite talented - I love his aerial event posters!! the girl on the salt flats with the title "Bonneville 1950" - the T-33 based here in Wendover could be that very jet!! I wonder if I could afford a print for the pilot. . . I wonder if I could get him to do a show poster for our event . . . the euro is at 1.36 to 1 US . . . I am going to need a bigger budget.

His work isn't all that easy to find and not exactly cheap.
That said, I've ordered every english version of everything he's done. And the 3 pin-up books, there's not much verbage in those anyway.
As an artist myself, my wife doesn't think too many bad things about me for ordering the work, I think she saw the airplanes and realized I really was focusing on his style than the women in the drawings (which, amazingly so, is actually true).
