Can you see what type helo took the photos?

Judging from the ground shadow in one pic and another pic with the airborne helo in the background....I'll go with a Piasecki HUP/H-25.

Great list Mark, I did 6 months on the Talbot County LST 1153 in the Med in 1960 when in the Corps.

"Internet hero"? Seriously? Good God man! Either I'm real good at googling (which I'm not) or some of you guys are real bad at googling (which I'm sure your not). Trust me I'm far from any type of hero. but thx Lynn as always for the kind words, not necessary but mucho appreciated.

It's not hard to find things on the Internet as long as you enjoy the research and have patience. I post 1/100 of the interesting things I find. Can't bring it upon myself to saturate WIX anymore than I already do.

I enjoy the hunt and research for interesting stuff (usually warbird related) but accolades are never necessary and quite frankly a bit weird. I'm just satisfied some of you find some of my posts interesting. That's all that matters.

Thx to a very knowledgable WIX member who shall remain anonymous, I have been corrected once again. As much as I hate being wrong because of my ego, I love being wrong because I am now a small bit smarter than I was a short time ago ... ... such is the wonders of life!
