Courtesy of Robin Brooks at BHHH, the first news regarding the plans to fly their aircraft over Normandy for the D-Day 70th anniversary commemorations is now available. They're also offering two of the Mk.IXs as a 'D-Day Spitfire' duo in 2014.

I'll be in Normandy from 6-8 June, although quite what I'll be doing in that time is unclear at the moment - anyone else going out there?
