I wonder how they got the A-20 out of Newfoundland, given the problems the Canadian government had trying to swap the B-24 to the NASM fifteen years ago.

I would like to know more about the potential Tu-2 project. They look familiar...

The A-20 looks to be in pretty remarkable condition! Paint still intact on the bottom of the wings, markings visible on the fuselage, engines look to be in decent shape... there's obviously quite a bit that would have to be fabricated, but it looks like a good start for a restoration project! Even if it were to be restored to static, it would be a great project. The world needs more complete A-20s.

I would also be interested to hear the story on the TU-2. If I remember correctly, War Eagles Air Museum had a few TU-2 airframes- or at least parts from them. Could this be one of those projects?

The A-20 is a great opportunity...I would guess around 3-4mil to get it running.

I did not know GossHawk was building the fuselage for Collings´Fw 190 F-8. It seems to need a lot of work till she will be airworthy though.....

The FW fuselage pictures are not current. The tail assembly (as seen on the website) was shipped to Kissimmee (mark Timken) a couple years ago, before Collings acquired the project.

Thank you for the correction, Jim. I did not know that, thought they were recent ones. Sorry if I were misleading anyone.

The picture of the Collings fuselage is relatively current. It actually doesn't look much different today from what is up on the website, but that's because numerous structural parts are being made and have just not been added to the fuselage as of yet yet.
From GossHawk rep Lindsey:
-All of the material under "current projects" on the website are current.
-Parts of the project were sent to GossHawk in order for GossHawk to complete the fuselage.

Here in lies why most shops will not post photos...the tail was shipped to Kissimmee in 2011.
