Yep, it's a quick Photoshop mod (which would look much better were I any sort of expert on Photoshop!)...Having seen a couple Sea Furies with an extended bubble top accommodating two crew, I began wondering what a T.16 Spit would look like, with the front cockpit moved forward a bit a la the T.9 and, instead of either the stepped T.9 arrangement or the level double-Malcolm-hood "Grace T.9" setup, one long canopy like those Furies. It would look nicer with the front cockpit in the stock location, but that would cause both CG and space problems, and the engineering for the T.9 has already been done, so forward went the front pew...

The markings reflect "my" Spitfire; I picked SL542 as that's a project XVI that's been in Canada for years, and the 403 (RCAF) Sqn codes are my nephew's initials (standing in for my own, which wouldn't have appeared on any Spit as far as I know). As has been pointed out, the original photo is indeed of VWoC's SL721, in this instance visiting Mt.Hope for the 2013 Hamilton airshow. (Course VWoC were mulling over adding a two-seat fighter to their stable somehow...)
