P.S. meant to say that David Collins of the DH Hornet restoration knew of large parts of Firefly still onsite from UK high ground wrecks, he was looking at recovering them and swapping for Hornet parts that somebody has/had (maybe yourself ?)

The progress has been very slow ,but still going!
Still in the process of dismanteling ready for cleaning & then eventually reconstruction.

I have also acquired another Firefly cockpit& rear fuselage ,& also a tail to help with the restoration

(Sorted out the pics codes)
Wow , those sizable extra parts to have acquired
While a long way a way & sort of still at war with Ethiopia, parts are still sitting (well one complete aircraft & possibly 2 fuselages) of ex Ethiopian Firefly's at Asmara, Eritrea. If they were Spitfires/P51/P47/P38 etc they would have been recovered a long time ago !

Your code you put up (in full) with [ replaced with ( to stop it formatting
