Well our C-123k is in for annual and my project this year was to do some repainting on the inside. I stripped the entire front bulkhead and it has since been repainted.

However, we had reflective "stickers" previously on the bulkhead that had emergency procedures printed on them and were placed next to the emergency gear extension handles for the nose gear. However, we have had some trouble trying to find a place that can make new ones. Does anyone know of any company that can do this?

The lettering is half inch and it's a total of seven decals we need. At this point, we don't care if they are on reflective tape or non-reflective tape. Otherwise we will have to paint them on. However we can't even do that because we don't have a half inch stencil die cutter, only an inch and 1/4 inch, which are both way too big and way too small.

Portable oxygen
recharge hose

Nlg emer. Release
Reduce speed to
110 knots or less
For emer. Free fall

Nlg emer. Uplock
Release
Pull Handel to
Release uplock

NLg emer. Down lock
Pull handel to
Lock gear down

I'll post a pic later to show what they actually looked like.

I'd start with a big vinyl sticker shop (the kind of place that can do decals for semi's or big trailers) and chat with them, the SCOTCHCAL reflective stuff is easily obtainable so no real worries there other than 3M is VERY proud of the stuff!!! Talk with a fleet operators shop and see who does their tractor/trailer appliques'

I can cut stencils if you want to the paint them on flightsimer. I could also make stick on placards from thin plastic if that's an option. Be glad to help any way that I can.

Thanks for the info so far. I think I may have found a shop down in Pittsburgh that might be able to create what we need. Now I just need to find out.

When a friend of mine was finishing his L-6 a few years ago, he went to a local sign/print shop and told them what he wanted. they printed them up perfectly.

Figured I would post these. Finally got around to taking pictures of my final product from my winter project Friday. Luckily, I found a picture I had from last year to use as a Before pic. I am going to redo the red behind the crash ax as the one side got all screwed up. Just have to pry myself from the C-47...

This firm did all of our markings for the F-4C in Newark....they did a great job and we are planning on using them for the Zanesville F-105 project
