C A F Buchon 2004

I was digging through some old Photo CD's and found one with some Aerospace America 2004 photos that are mostly of the C A F Buchon so I uploaded a few to Photobucket. Didn't get to see it fly though.

Your not the only one...........the CAF sold it before it ever got a chance to fly.

Where is this aircraft now? It's "N" number in the photo is "N 109NE" and looking it up in FAA registry shows it not used . Looked thru surviving ME 109's and Buchon HA 1112's and couldn't find what I was hoping to find. Anybody know where it is?

Mike Furline you are correct. I misread the "N" number as N109NE when it is in fact N109ME as you reported. It all falls into place when you have the correct info, thanks. N109ME was deregistered in 2008 for export.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at the full profile shot was the person standing at the back, in the black hat with his hands on it :twisted:

Why? So many examples of people putting their hands on aircraft (Flak Bait being the worst example of all!)...why is it so hard to understand that this is someone's private property...look all you want, take all the pictures you want, heck, even talk to the owners as they are most often giddy to talk about their planes. But, please...DO NOT TOUCH!!!!!
