I can't find anything further on the Web -- Can anyone provide an update? Did she make her way into a desalination tank? Updated photos?

Yes the aircraft, after the immediate desalinization process, will be transported to the Museum of the Italian Air Force at Vigna Di Valle. Now It's located near La Spezia.

I am in touch with the Italian Air Force Museum director who should update me soon. As soon as i have news i will write an update.

Based on his email address, it looks like he is in Italy. He is probably using Google translation software.

I believe he is saying he hasn't received your email yet, and is asking you to please try again. He appears to be very interested in your item and doesn't want to miss the chance to buy it.
