That's great news!! Nice to see that this old bird was saved from the scrap heap. My father-in-law flew Sabres with RCAF 434 Sqn in the '50's. Milberry's book, The Canadair Sabre, has a decent history on this a/c. She was built in Montreal in 1956 and was first flown on 24.5.56. C/n was 1492 and Tail No. was 383/23702. She was delivered 11.10.56. 1/L, 2/M. P (Kempton Park Tech. College, RSA). Hope this helps.

They are after the Horizontal Stab, Vertical Stab, and the elevators and rudder. If anyone knows of any can you please PM me. There is also a few panels missing but they should be pretty easy to make up.
