It looks like I'll have to put my visit off for another few years then!
I did not see any mention of a C-5 or a KC-10 on the site. I assume they will end up with them. I wonder if they will get them into the hangar?

The way its set up right now there will be no room in this new building for either a C-5 or a KC-10

There are specific tail numbers of KC-10, KC-135, and C-5 that they want.

We discussed the NMUSAF C-5 plans in this thread not long ago. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49475&p=497900&hilit=galaxy#p497900

Original plans for the new building showed a C-5, but that was dropped soon therafter to get more of the R&D aircraft out of the annex.

It will be nice when the new building is completed. All the work being done on the Shuttle Trainer exhibit in the Cold War Gallery has caused a lot of the aircraft to be moved around. Last time I was there it wasn't possible to get up close to the Stealth or get a good view of many of the aircraft at that end of the hangar. Not complaining, but if you go specifically to see any of those aircraft you might be a little disappointed. Although if that ruins your visit... you must have missed the other hundreds of awesome aircraft and artifacts on display.
