That color pic is awesome! A year ago I was on a Citation trip and the airport had been a test facility for that TDN-1 Radioplane. They had pictures of it there. I haven't been able to find much of anything else on the type. Definitely a rarity.

Not one to argue and the inspector and I have been p.m.ing on this, after weeks and weeks of research I have come to the conclusion that it isn't a TDN or a Radioplane of any type but a................TD2R built by Interstate; and oh how I wish I had one! Anyone think the Navy would let me have their TDR? Maybe there is still one more in a barn in Oklahoma!

Fat fingers got me...........................yes a 3 not a two. 1 and 2 had flat motors, the 3 had the round engines. Years and years ago F1G Pilot and I met a man that worked on the TDR project for Interstate. Really an interesting fellow. The TDR project was kept secret until the 70s!
