That would be No. 5 SFTS, now the Brantford Municipal Airport.

The school belonged to the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan
not Commonwealth Air Training Plan
Sorry but I get tired of people using the wrong name

For some reason Aus and N.Z. never used the proper name (BCATP) instead referring to the Plan as
the Empire Air Training Plan. Post war they changed it again to Empire Air Training Scheme (EATS)
This has caused much confusion for historians over the years
The actual name of the training operation in Canada was the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.(BCATP)
The agreement was signed by all of the participating nations in Dec 1939 under the name BCATP and there is ample documentation proving this.
Don't know why Aus and NZ would not use that name .

As a dominion I'd suggest it was more about referencing the Empire / Mother country to the wartime public at large rather than semantics.
