Ernest Harmon AFB 1965

I am back at scanning my old pictures and the subject for today was a Community Appreciation Day at Stephenville, Newfoundland and our squadron, VW-11, flew a EC-121P Super Connie to the event. Ernest Harmon AFB was a SAC and MATS base in Newfoundland from 1941-1966. They had a Community Appreciation Day in the Summer of 1965. It must have been the base's last fly-in before the station closed.
