Marine Air, perhaps you didn't understand me when I said NO SPECULATIONS. Leave finding cause to the NTSB. Topic cleaned.

It was aliens with ray guns that caused the incident. Speculation? I think not.

I don't think it's considered speculation to say this sucks rocks, and I feel INCREDIBLY bad for the entire CAF crew which has worked so hard to get her back in the air. I cannot imagine how pi$$ed off they must be about the whole affair, regardless of what happened... all that work and effort has to be redone now.

Best wishes and best of luck to those hardworking guys and gals in getting the damage sorted out.

As I like to say more than not:

Always look on the Bright Side of Life.

-No Injuries
-No Major Damage (hopefully)

She can be rebuilt. If it is some sort of maintenance error then hopefully the person responsible will be dealt with accordingly. A shame too since the other P-63 is coming along nicely.

I have nothing non-speculative to say about this crash. But I think I'd like to follow up with newscaster Audrey Castoreno for more info.

Does the king cobra have the fuel selector switch to " both" or does it need to switch from the left and right tanks?

No "Both"
Most high performance stuff doesn't have a common feed.

Sad to see.

If someone can drop me a message regarding contacting the CAF people responsible ie not via the website.

I maybe in a position to assist with parts.

I think Canadian ones did

That's right, the Canadien-built ones used Sher-Woods, though some were retrofitted with Victoriavilles.

Hmmmm.... Didn't realize I was speculating.

I wonder which definition I was found guilty of?

I "speculate" we're all guilty of 1a....

spec·u·la·tion (spky-lshn)
n.
1.
a. Contemplation or consideration of a subject; meditation.
b. A conclusion, opinion, or theory reached by conjecture.
c. Reasoning based on inconclusive evidence; conjecture or supposition.
2.
a. Engagement in risky business transactions on the chance of quick or considerable profit.
b. A commercial or financial transaction involving speculation.

Good point! By that definition all of these threads/posts are speculation.

Sad to see. HERE'S A REALLY FAR SHOT as far as prop Blades, Just MAYBE the ones on the Lackland P-63 (We all know, BEEN OUTSIDE FOREVER!) might still be good, BUT WOULD have to get the O.K from the "Air Force Museum" ( I forget all the letters they use now, and I KNOW someone will correct me) and of course like the P-82 ( ), it would have to have a "trade" of a static prop ( I know that was with their own people) in it's place. Like I said, A REALLLLY FAR SHOT! still, Lots of Luck (and of course, hard work) for the Cent Tex. Wing.

I'm proud of myself, I did'nt EVEN THINK of asking for pic.s of how it's doing now, ( learned my lesson the last time I did  )

Maybe at least a couple of the blades could be straightened since the engine wasn't running when they hit the ground. Also, suggest checking in with the Fighter Factory. Heard they were having a "fire sale". Don't call Kermit, he doesn't need the money! The most difficult is going to be the drive shaft and accompanying parts. They've been unavailable for decades.
