Sorry if this has been posted else where and I just over looked it, but I read on Ezell Aviation's Facebook page that Connie Edwards son Tex was killed in a car accident... Haven't found any other information...

Killed Monday night. Services will be at the Ranch Friday morning. Tex left behind a Wife and two young children. Such a tragic end to a wonderful young man.

So sad to hear. I didn't know who they we're referencing. Thanks for the clarification for those "out of the loop".

This is very sad to hear.
Tex was a great guy and I met him years ago at OSH when we flew down and back to Lakelawn in formation in Coke Stuart's TBM with a young, 17 year-old Tex flying tight off our wing.
Godspeed Tex.
My prayers are with you and with your family.

Oh wow sorry to hear. I got to meet him when him and his dad flew the albatross and TBM to FLL for the anniversary of Flt 19.
Prayers with the family.

I just received a call from Bill Greenwood. He asked me to pass this on.
I would like to express my condolences and how much I enjoyed knowing him, just like we all enjoy knowing Connie.
Last year I spent some time talking and visiting with him at Howard’s services. I always enjoyed visiting with him.
He is one of the people we will really miss.

So sad to hear this. I first met Tex in Breckenridge back in the late 80's, we were both in our teens. Really nice guy, prayers to family. Kind of speechless....Don't know what else to say.....

Same with me Tint. I met Tex at Breckenridge back when we both were teenagers. For some reason I always remembered him telling me about his birthday being on December 22nd, and I've specifically referenced that memory many times throughout the years. He was my age and already flying warbirds when we first met, so that's probably why.

I'd not crossed paths with Tex since that time, though I had always looked forward to it. I truly hate that he was taken before his time.
