where would I look for L-5 info?

Sat Jan 14, 2006 3:42 am

As in parts and such.

I have a fuselage from dad with the data plate still on it, but the rest of the craft was destroyed by my aunt ( she was afraid dad would put it together and fly it )

I would love to build it if its not too very expensive....

and help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the boards Frank. Where in Texas are you located? We've got at least 5 L-5's going together in the DFW area with at least 5 in the area that are flying. Propwash, just outside of Justin, Texas is where we are concentrated.

I'm over in Garland.

There is a man named Jason Pence at this webite http://www.nationalcapitolsquadron.com/ Whom is a mechanic / pilot for
an L-5. Contact him via the webite E-mail address. He may be able to help you.

I’ll second the nomination of SOPA for an excellent source of L-5 info. Jim puts out a great newsletter as well, so it’s more than just a website. Join!

Shoot me an email if you need some parts.

And that would be me. I can definitely second the cheering section for the SOPA, Jim Gray is a great guy and VERY knowledgeable about L-5's. Having said all that, I'm happy to help any way I can.
