Warbird Information Exchange

I realize this is a longshot, but the WIX community seems to come up with amazing things so I thought I would at least throw it out there. I'm looking for recent photos of some aircraft I spent time in and around during the 80's.

The first is P-51, serial #44-73275. I know it now flies as "Never Miss", but what I would love to see is what the cockpit looks like today. Back in the 80's it was pretty plush....had plenty of ashtrays. These are pics shortly after it was acquired from Connie Edwards in a trade for a PBY and some cash. It was traded as Race #9 "Miss Francis" in a red, white and black paint scheme - this is just after new paint.












On a side note, here are couple pictures of the PBY that was taken in trade for the P-51. In the first picture you can see Mr. Edwards doing a maximum Short Field landing with the assistance of a drag chute at Breckenridge. Rumor had it that two weeks before this, while fishing off the wing after a water landing in Lake Travis, he received a ticket for fishing on an unlicensed Bass boat.






Next is Harvard MkIV, Serial #20218. It had the exhaust cut and gear doors added. Looks like its still flying in California.






Finally, T-34B BG-0251. This one I have had more trouble finding anything on.

The T-34B, BG-251 is currently registered as N54251. The FAA lists it as owned by Peter DeSoto in Clearwater, FL.
