I have a friend who was at DBQ when the 6's launched. They were practicing a "75" formation and from the phone photo he posted it looked great!

The grinning guy in the backseat of the first T-6 photo is one of the stars from the flick "Speed and Angels."

Thanks Dan! Glad to see the CAF Seafury back in the air.... she should have lots of company over the next week. There should be a good turnout of CAF birds too.... one of these days I will make it to OSH! A generous preshow thanks to all who will be posting piccies and vid clips over the next week for those of us who are working.

While viewing the various ramps via the webcam.... I like what I am seeing on the warbird ramp. I did see the Texas Flying Legends taxi by live.... really cool, but you only saw mostly the nose, props, and tail...... but when you are not on the ramp or at OSH period.......infinitely better than nothing! Thanks EAA...
Alright everybody.....could someone give like totals for Warbirds, etc...... or at least one pic.... I did see Conrad's baby parked on the grass, complete with droptanks....looks fabulous... also a couple of TBM's (Tinker & Deckert)... 5 B-25's? (so far), two Corsairs, but I never saw a good shot of the pony birds ramp....

Saw three Corsairs Sunday a.m.: TFL's, what looked like "Korean War Hero", and another four-blader.

The camera covers Navy, bombers, transports, and trainers. It simply doesn't swing far enough to the right to see the air corps & allied fighters (P-51, P-40, etc.), and it doesn't swing far enough to the left to see the WWII L-birds.

Diamond Lil and most likely Yankee Lady also will be down at the West Ramp (Or whatever they call it this year...Vintage cam). Aluminum Overcast & FIFI will be overhead all week, with FIFI on the ramp by Friday.

Monday a.m. on Vintage cam: Can anyone confirm the identity of the yellow-winged air corps biplane parked to Duggy's starboard (and across road from Reno Thunder Mustangs)?

Dan, it looks like it's the EAA 'sweepstakes' Stearman, N52131, that recently finished restoration and is being raffled off by EAA. It is said to have at one time been owned by Curtis Pitts.

EAA spotlights Conrad:

Only problem I can see is an FM-2 doesn't have a hatch big enough to fit a trophy through.
