Jim, have you tried a Neutral Density filter to blur the prop? I have a Hero 2 which doesn't have as many accessories available, but found a 1.0 ND disc on Amazon that just fits between the camera and the housing. It doesn't seem to have much effect, so I'm going to try getting a darker one and see how it works.

I'm going to Colorado on Wednesday and hoping to fly the Fokker D.VII up to Ft. Collins to see you guys on Saturday (it's based at Platte Valley, 30 miles SE of Ft. Collins)-

this is the Hero 2...Indian River sells a filter that fits the camera housing...I just haven't had time to order one. The Hero 3 still does not stop the "bent prop" and it does not have an audio jack. It doesn't please everybody but I don't mind, its still a heck of way to shoot video. See you in Ft Collins!

I just noticed that you can also see Witchcraft reflected in the yellow portion of the P-51 wing tip. Great shot!

In this shot, it kinda looks like the B-24 is parked on the ground in that clearing! Neato! 8)

And Jim, I still say you have WAY too much fun...

Jim, Aircraft Spruce has a Pilot USA cable that plugs into the Hero 2 but I will have to drill a hole in the case for it. GoPro.com has a 3.5 mic adapter for the 3 and nflightcam.com has a avaiator lens kit and a GoPro cockpit kit. Sporty's has a lot of stuff as well.
Chuck and I are to fly on Wednesday and I'm going to put one of my camera on the wing and one behind me with the cable so I'll let you know how it goes...

Fly safe,
Lynn

Well we invaded Oklahoma briefly today and returned to Gainesville and then back to Addison. I haven't downloaded the video but the cable seemed to work well but I will put the camera on the right side of the roll cage as its stretched a little to much going behind my seat for the left side. I didn't have the right hardware to attach the camera to the wing but we talked about Jim's picture at lunch with W/C below and I plan to do it next time...

Well I'll add that Betty Jane and Witchcraft looked great flying over the beach yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to catching them on the ground next week in Morristown, NJ.
