By all means your very welcome as it's nice to see folks who spend the time, energy and resources to actually write and publish books still. A very noble task in this day and age IMO. Please feel free to ask for additional (N) unit information and photos for your next installment of "Night Fighters' Vol. 2, still have a lot more stuff. :wink:

I got your book the other day and been looking through it. The only "disagreement" I have in it is about the P-38M. (Superior to the P-61) The four of these aircraft that made it to the Pacific went to the 418th NFS at Atsugi for flight testing. One had been lost by Lt. Gerald Bliss (Lt. Pervinko R/O) when he ran out of fuel, the other three were sent on to the 421st. Bliss, Hopwood, and R/O's Wagner and Wagner went with these aircraft. Anyway, I got to know most the 421st NFS members and they had mixed feelings about the P-38. They said it was a little faster, but preferred the P-61 as a night fighter. The remaining three P-38s were sent to the 45th Service Group at Manila and scrapped. Other than that great book!!!!!
