I am looking for any information regarding this AC It was used in the Movies A Bridge Too Far and Band of Brothers. Any links or pictures would be helpful also.

I did a Goggle search on that s/n which led me to N58NA. Did a Goggle with N58NA which led to a bunch of information & pics. The aircrafty is a former "Pathfinder" C47 (C-47A-20-DK) which was operated in the ETO. Last information I found indicates it is now registered to First Flight Out Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina, & still carrying the WWll paint scheme. Hope this helps.

Same Operator. Seems that the airplane has been through an auction or two, but still has the WWII movie paint. I sure wish an old gal like this could talk, just think of the no B.S. stories that could be told!

Not movie paint.............been like that since the 80's when she was flying freight out of Vermont.
58NA was one of the airplanes that flew out of here for a Fed Ex contract by a freight company called Business Air/Northern Airways. Funny, I just got a e mail a few days ago from a guy that is a "pathfinder" historian on what I knew about the airplane.

forgot to mention, its no longer in clt, went to texas where it was sold on ebay and apparently its off to Utah where its going to fly the airshow circut with troop seats installed.............cool

In the 1980's she used to make regular runs into Bradley International Airport in CT, along with her sister ships, all painted in D-Day markings. It was really neat to see them all the time; still working and looking great! We actually had two of them on display at the 1985 Pratt & Whitney Airshow for 4 days.

if you got any pics, please post!!!!! I gotta hook my scanner up. When I was 14 I got to fly on an overnight to hartford in my fav out of the bunch. N54NA. Right after take off my friend got up out of the co pilots seat and i got to get some seat time. Capt bruce let me fly for a while. Kept the heading and everything. I was still in the right seat on touch down. Cant explain how neat that was to do that. Many years later, got to ride in another DC-3, did the take off, flew to a tailwheel fly-in where I got to land and was guided into a parking space by my friend who got up out of the seat for me many yrs ago. But the neat part, I was now in the left!!!! sad, he was killed the following yr in a car accident.

I have many photos, especially at Pratt's Show. The only problem is that they are slides and I haven't got a slide scanner yet to digitize them. Birthday's coming, so I hope I've dropped enough hints!
