For those of you like me who think Strategic Air Command was one of the better aviation movies ever made-
it is scheduled on RETRO Tv June 21 at 3:05am. It was also on last night but I missed the first few minutes-

Anyone know why this is not DVD yet. I would by it without thinking twice.

I bought a copy from these guys for one of the denizens of our hangar, Col. Norm Mueller. He has flown both the B-36 and B-47, but had never seen the movie. I couldn't let that stand.

They were easy to work with and sent a good looking DVD.

My wife and I sleep with the TV on and have several movies on the DVR we put on when we fall asleep- Tora Tora Tora, 30 Seconds Over Tokyo, Battle of Britian, Glenn Miller Story, The Right Stuff, and Strategic Air Command. We've had them on there for years. A year and a half or so ago Strategic Air Command and Right Stuff were accidently deleted. Ever since then I have searched for the movie every couple weeks and finally hit the jackpot when I found Strategic Air Command.

Love June Allyson and Jimmy Stewart together and the music on the first B-36 flight is beautiful! So happy to see this one on again.
