Hey, guys -

I fully repect Jeff's right to his own work.

My background: I first soloed in 1974 in an L-4 (out of MNL). I am commercial, instrument rated (expired CFI). I left school just "turbines" and "fuel systems" classes short of my A&P. So I am new to the "N" community but not new to aircraft or flying. I never found a way to make a living in the aviation industry, but it has always been an avocation.

I'll tell you about my motivation - my dad told me stories of the N3Ns at NAS Glenview. I was on the modelling forums and guys kept telling me that the N3N was a copy of a Stearman (or vice-versa). So I determined that I would not to let the memory of the N3N be lost.

I am pleased that so many museums are displaying aircraft - you can see them on the "Museums" page of my website.

As a non-owner, I have the maximum respect for those of you who spend your time and treasure to "Keep 'em Flying". You are my second motivation.

I count 18 museum aircraft in 15 locations! That's a great representation for the N
