Being a volunteer, although a great experience, at that wonderful airshow is hardly an opportunity to 'live and work in New Zealand' ! I speak from experience having done it in 2004.

That would be highly dependent on where you were asked to work - some of it is indoors (or in tents) . I was working as P-51 crew so got a great view of the show
