A place where restoration project-type threads can go to avoid falling off the main page in the WIX hangar. Feel free to start threads on Restoration projects and/or warbird maintenance here. Named in memoriam for Gary Austin, a good friend of the site and known as RetroAviation here. He will be sorely missed.

I don't get it; is that a cowling?
Or are the kitchen spammers at it again?

You now have my full attention!

Also, is your bar in a hangar?

(Okay, I realize those are two different locations, but I couldn't help myself.)
I can't stop picturing a drunk guy falling off of those seats yelling: "EJECT! EJECT!"

I like it! That would be a great bar. Really love the seats!

Ha! Yeah all good comments. Funny but these are actually very comfortable seats. I reduced them to the basics as the original configuration would not have been. I have used NOS "upholstery" with a slight mod cushion under the seat but all the women say, "These are really comfortable seats."
Before

After

In service

Let me know if you are interested as there are many configs out there.
